Dinner Invite-Making It Pretty
There are times in life where the perfect gift can’t be wrapped. Sometimes it ends up being an experience or an outing that ends up making the greatest gifts. The only problem with these types of presents is that you really have nothing to physically give them at the moment gifts are exchanged. And lets be honest, who doesn’t love (or at least like) opening a beautifully wrapped package. Half of the fun of a gift is anticipating it, and wondering what is inside.
Well, all is not lost. There are a few ways of making these types of gifts more fun to give. The first is easy. Wrap up and give a smaller gift to give along side your main gift. For this gift of a ‘night on the town’, it would be easy to pair it with a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates. That way at least you don’t look like you are walking into the party empty handed.
I decided to create a 4-fold card for this ‘dinner out’ gift. The thing I like most about a 4-fold card is that you get the illusion of double sided printing without having to actually print on both sides of the card. I’m not sure about you, but every time I try to print double sided projects at home I always end up with some level of alignment issues. The front and the back hardly ever line up like they should.
This easy fix allows you to print on only one side of the paper. But when folded it gives the appearance of double sided printing.
Oh yeah, one more thing, ignore the Merry Christmas part of this post. It’s sunny out and spring is finally in the air and I’m posting Christmas cards! Let’s just pretend it says Happy Birthday, or Happy Mother’s Day!
