I love salmon! It just might be my favorite fish. Here is an easy recipe that is great on the grill or baked. I don’t have exact measurements for this recipe, I usually just play with it. It is hard to mess up though, so don’t worry. It’s easy. The ingredient list is simple. Salmon […]

I have always loved making themed desserts. The 4th of July is extra fun because there is so much you can do with red, white and blue. Here is a quick idea of a dessert that you can make in no time. It looks great and takes no time to make what-so-ever. All it is […]

I am a hockey mom. Which means I spend most of my winter (and fall, and spring) in a freezing cold ice rink. Most of the time when you think of hockey, you don’t think of wine. In fact, you think of everything opposite of wine; ice, freezing cold, fights, beer, nachos, mullets. When you […]

I could have possibly had one of the most amazing culinary experiences of my life the other night thanks to The Corner Table in Minneapolis. I was lucky enough to enjoy a 12 course meal, paired with wine and beer and served in a cozy corner table just feet away from the stove.

One of my all time favorite restaurants is Red Stone Grill. One of the best things on their menu (besides everything) is their Chocolate chip cookie dessert. I know, I know…it’s a cookie. Why would I go to a fantastic restaurant that makes amazing food and order a chocolate chip cookie? Because it’s that good.

Here is a recipe for one of my all time favorite winter soups, chicken tortilla. I think I may even like it a bit more than chili…but shhhh, don’t tell my husband.   Before you get too scared by the long list of ingredients, let me tell you that it is super easy and very […]

I always found that my pie crust were either hit or miss. Sometimes they were great and other times not so good. I love buttery pie crust that are flaky and I now have a recipe that produces them perfectly ever time. I found a great pie crust is less about the recipe and more […]

Last weekend I had the opportunity to take a road trip with my aunt and my mom to Nelson WI. for… you guessed it, PIZZA! I think this was the one and only time I have ever crossed state borders for no other reason than to eat pizza. And I must say, it was defiantly […]

As the fresh berry season comes to a close what better way to send it off but a berry cream cheese tart. I love this tart because it is so easy to make and so hard to mess up. Quick and simple…always a favorite. The first thing I love so much about this tart is […]
