I was going through some old pictures the other day and ran across these three. I love them! They remind me of camping and being in the great out doors. I took these shots when my son and I went on a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park. What an amazing vacation that was. It was very challenging yet very rewarding. Layton was two at the time and we went back country hiking. Our camp site the first night was 10 miles into the mountains. We ended up setting up our camp site 8 miles in because we were too tired to go any further. We couldn’t have ended up with a better spot to spend the night though. We were in the most beautiful valley that had a stream running through it, surrounded by mountains and nothing else (except bears I suspect). It was one of the most beautiful spots I have ever been too. Even though I brought my camera along I didn’t take many pictures. I wish I had. I guess that photography wasn’t a priority when you are hiking with a toddler. I’m grateful to have these shots though.
